Bio

​

“The Abyss Inside Us” is a one man’s instrumental project of Nikos Togkaridis from Athens, Greece.

 

Experimenting with different genres throughout the years (electronic, ambient, hip-hop and film music), Nikos finally found "shelter" in 2019, with post-rock music, when he released his first EP "Earth 2" under the musical alias "The Abyss Inside Us".

 

Nikos started playing drums at the age of 18, while getting involved with music production. In 2004, he earned a diploma in Sound Engineering and Music Technology.

 

His music has been featured in documentaries (Trax Taiwan), short films (Catche, Hyperthermia) and at the end of 2021, his music will be featured in an unreleased video game (Shadow Dreams) for PS5 and X-Box. The Abyss Inside Us has already released two LPs, one single and three EPs since 2019.

 

Recently, The Abyss Inside Us collaborated with the Spanish composer "Non Somnia" and a single released on August 1st. The next release is an 5 track EP called  "circuits", releasing January 1st.

The Abyss Inside Us has collaborated in projects with Non Somnia, Sidus, Mike Bodulow and Andre Miranda.
